Follow up to my hesitation problem. I couldn't keep away from the tools. I tried.
I took the intercooler out (following the 'spring cleaning guide' as suggested) and there was a fairly good amount of oil in the up pipe (leading to the TB), in the intercooler, the throttle body and in the plastic duct just off the turbo!
Just off the turbo, there was some dried oil in the bend of the duct. But the rubber connecter had a a bit of oil dripping out.
That can't be good.
My search on the subject showed that some oil in the intercooler/up pipe is common. But I think that I had a bit more oil than the others. And, the others with this problem had TONS more miles than I have (4k !!).
What could this be? Is this normal? Or does it point to a larger and more expensive problem? The impeller blades (can see 'em with that plastic duct off) look clean as does the turbo area.
What should I be looking for (besides the nearest shot glass)??
