I bought some t-bolt clamps to replace the old regular clamps on the intercooler. When I took the two clamps off the bottom of the up pipe (left hose on) a small amout of oil seeped through, no a lot, but enough to to get my hands dirty when I put the new clamps on. I know this probably isnt good and I just wanna know how bad it really is. Thanks for the input.

A slight residue is normal, but dripping oil is not. Pull the MAF pipe (or hose) off the turbo and examine the compressor wheel. See if the shaft has any play in any direction

Thanks a lot, that helps me quite a bit, ill have to check it out as soon as i can.

Do you still have the factory breather hooked up to the turbo inlet bell? This is the greatest source of oil getting into the intake stream.

Use valve cover breathers instead! Disconnect the breather pipe from the right valve cover to the turbo bell. Plug the hole in the turbo bell and install a breather in each valve cover. This will put an end to your oil problem.

Valve cover breathers for both sides are available from Kirbans, Johns Performance and others. Don't plug the factory set up until you have the VC breathers. These engines need ventilation or you will blow your dipstick out of it's tube or even the rear main seal.
