so i have a low mile gn sits alot and today i took it out and has no power under boost and once i power braked it it sputtered terribly and pops and stuff.
i have a scan master in it
can you guys assist me on what to check for,
the car is stock with exahust and a turbo tweak chip.
let me know and i cn post the numbers on the scan master.....
thanks in advance

also it doesnt feel like its missing at idle , just under boost

here are the scan master numbers
the car doesnt break up until its under a heavy load, light load car still runs fine but under a heavy load it feels like its holding back bigtime..
thanks again

How are you measuring boost? Could be over boosting and you're getting all kinds of KR. Also could be coil, ignition module,O2 or MAF sensor to name a few. Since you're already youtube savvy maybe post a video of your scanmaster during a run when the car is acting up. Then we'll all be able to see what your O2 millivolts and knock are.

Ok what exactly do you want me to vid?
Under boost I have a boost guage it's around 15 lbs
That's when it breaks up
How can I check coil packs?
How can I check maf?
Btw I unplugged it and it ran fine,

I think you just solved your own problem. If you unplugged your MAF and it ran fine then there's your problem. Put in a known good MAF and see what happens. By the way, the replacement MAF's from the local parts store are extremely hit or miss. If they give you one that's shaped like an hourglass, hand it right back. You don't want it.

If it's a good MAF then the car should run like crap when you unplug it and it would light the service engine soon light. You can get a new MAF from autozone but make sure it's shaped just like yours now. I had to go through 3 autozone MAF's to find a good one but now l'm running a translator so l ditched the stock MAF forever. The easiest way would be to find someone near you with a turbo Regal and ask to borrow their's for 5 minutes.

There should be a lot of guys in the LI area willing to help you out. I'm sure someone will chime in maybe tomorrow. If you lived in upstate PA you could borrow mine.

What should happen when you unplug the maf?
Damn where do find a good maf?
Give your MAF a rap with a screwdriver while it is idling. If it stumbles, the MAF is shot. Get a translator and a LS1 MAF. Better than trying to find a good reman from the parts store.

I did that didn't sputter unplugged it and ran the same
I don't understand should it run different with it unplugged ?

Also would like to keep it stick looking
