Be sure to check it out. Under the Turbo Lounge heading of "The Numbers Game with the (SPI) Trunk ID label besides breaking down various posted trunk ID labels we cover a wide range of neat automotive trivia and run contests with prizes every week. This thread was started in mid April and has a huge following. Come check out the latest pages and join in. Everyone learns something. Over two dozen winners thus far and counting.

Just to give everyone a heads up under our long continuing thread we have now conducted 45 contests and awarded over $1,000 in prizes in less than 60 days......

See our thread under my name dennis kirban "The numbers game the SPI label" Its easy to spot as it has never been off the first page under the Turbo Lounge.

Probably should be renamed the "automotive history thread"....

Check it out you could be the next winner.

When is the guess how many jellybeans are in a jar contest coming or how long until all the yum yum donuts are eaten contest coming? I always loved those contests.

You simply go to the last page.....most trivia only runs 1-2 pages before the rite answer shows up. No need to look any further starting at the last page. If it goes longer someone or me usually reposts the question so it appears on the page that is not been used up.

Its not a difficult process.

Working with one thread is easier for me to keep track of.

It's not as complicated as you think.

Heres a tip for everyone to the left of every thread title is a little arrow. Clicking that arrow takes you to the last post you read in the thread. So every day just click the arrow and you will go to the last post you read the day or time before and you can start a new. It really is easy.

Okay. Call me a dumbazz too. I'm with wile87 on this one. Yes I like to think I know WTF I'm doing as far as how this and the other sites work.

Here's my reasons and I'm sure you'll agree with me.
#1. OK,you're busy as heck like I am. You may not get the chance to log on and read every new post every 24 hours. Sometimes I've been away from here for weeks on end. I click on the new posts thingy and have to scroll through 50 or more new posts. Hey the thread says SPID Label game and now I'm reading about crap that holds an Isetta together. If you change the subject matter than start a new thread! You know there was a new thread started every time a vendor donated something for the monthly give away.
#2. I've always used the boards for a reference site. See I do know what that Search thingy is for. Damn! There is almost 2,000 hits on that thread! My answer just might be in that thread but I'll be damned if I'm going to waste my time scrolling through 2,000 posts trying to find it. You ain't helping anybody.
#3. Keep your threads and keep your posts short and sweet. When you reply to a thread keep it under 100 words or less. One thing I've found is that I can read a book or magazine from cover to cover but if it's on the internet than I have a short attention span. Being repetitive just makes me click the mouse and move on. If it's repetitive put it in your signature. You know every post you make is either fact or opinion. No need to repeat it on every post.
#4. Because I said so. :D
