OPINIONS!! DRAGSTERS at NATIONALS???

Ok guys, Looking for opinions here!! I have been trying for years now to be allowed to race at GS or BPG nationals with no results. I have made up voting boards and put them out while at a few of the BPG races and got overwhelming YES votes (80 to 100 for , 2 against) I have never brought my car to the GS nationals , but would love to!! Simply put there are a few people in the right places that keep me out. Yet I have seen 11.50 street cars make the quick 16 field. What do you people want to see!!!

Please offer up your OPINIONS on weather or not I should be allowed to race at any of these races in the quick 8 or 16 type races!!

There will be no hard feelings here for anyones input as why I should not be allowed. Let the beating begin!! Thanks Mike

I wanna see it. No reason for you not to be allowed to run any index or bracket style class at any Buick race. If they're scared to compete against a dragster, they need to work on their program rather than bitching.

They aint gonna let us Mike..... you know it. Tooo many politics and some full bodys always complain about slingshots no matter what the rules. at least theres classes for your newer chassis.... its hard to run nostalgia with an 80s V6 and hard to run regular classes with a front engine chassis! ya get no respect!

I see NO reason not to let you run. Hell, I've lost to faster AND slower cars than yours, why not loose against you, too. Bracket racing is bracket racing. Heads up racing against a full bodied car will be an issue, but I'm not afraid to race against anything. Foot brake and all. If I loose, I got beat by a better driver. If I win.............I got lucky.

Yea I got this heap sorta running !! It wont keep up with Freeman though Barry has gone to a BBC , I think Im the last one standing!! I wonder if I ever had those plug wires on?? Mike

What is the ET break for bracket 1 at BG ?? Somehow I dont feel safe giving cars a 5 or 6 second spot and catching some going 100 MPH faster than them. Call me a wussy , but there it is!! I belong in the quick 8 or 16 as far as Im concerned. Mike

Couldn't tell ya about the break for bracket 1. I said index class but I was thinking about the q8 or whatever class it is that Freeman and Wilkerson compete in. I think they use a dial in so the dragster would fit just fine IMO.
