Orange Stripe Bit the Dust

My trusty old orange stripe finally bit the dust. I'm looking for another 3000 stall that won't cost me $1k+.

I see a PTC 10" with 2800 and 3200 stall. Do they make a 3000 I just can't find? The 3000 stall seems to be a perfect fit for my ancient PT51 and 55lb. injector combo.

Any thoughts?

I have available a 9.5" lockup converter with 3000 stall that is only available at Turbo Buick Performance. Any question please feel free to contact me.

Like Mike said, don't get hung up on stall speeds. Turbo cars don't really have a stall speed. Your orange stripe was a restalled 12" and was probably around 2200-2300 rpm at 1psi. My 10" is around 2800 at 1psi so it will spool faster than what you had. If you really liked the way yours worked I can build a new 12" with similar stall.

I just installed a 10 LU convertor from Dusty in a car that has a TA62 and ported iron heads. Let me tell you, it is a totally different car. Pulls hard even on low boost. You wont go wrong with one from him.
