Putting my 86 back together and I'm just fine tuning somethings under the hood. I know there are some differences between the 86 and 87 engine bay. Is this the coil pack sticker for the 86 GN's?

I also noticed the emissions label is a bit different. Seems the 86 just has the coil pack firing order but the 87 don't. Is that correct?

Any other differences I need to look out for? I know the power steering cap and I think the font is different on the dipsticks? Anyone have some nice high resolution pics of a low mile all stock 86 engine bay they can send me? Thanks!

The part # on the emissions label is different from 86 to 87. It's been a while but my T had the same sticker as an 87 on the original coil this is going from memory because the coil and module were swapped out under warranty. I can snap some pictures of the dipstick handle. It was a block letter like a san's serrif. The power steering cap depends on whether the recall for PS groan was applied. Original they had a RH thread cap and reservoir. The new cap is LH threads.

Coil pack decal

Jim,
Your coil pack decal is correct. Here is a pic of an 87 coil pack decal. If you need a new 86 coil pack decal for your 86 restoration, I have an extra. Dave

Thanks for the offer and clearing that up Dave! The pic I posted of the coil pack is the one on my 86 GN now. I just wanted to make sure it was correct as I've seen another one with the hawk on it that someone claimed to be from an 86 coil pack. What was this one from....
