Other brake accumulator compatibility w/ Buick Powermaster?

Have seen pictures of other brake system accumulator balls on Jaguars, Saabs, and BMW's. Appearance wise, they look similar to the ones our Buicks use. I think some may be for ABS systems but they work on the same principle and design by description. Anyone ever try one of these or know if they might work for us? Search ebay under accumulator and you will see what I am referring to.

I think I've looked at every type of OEM accumulator for that list of cars including Porche and nothing has the correct threads. Looks like the only thing that will work is the replacement accumulator that everybody sells.

Just thinking out loud but what about some type of short male/ female adapter between the PM and alternate ball to allow for installation?
