ALWAYS LOOK IN YOUR BROWSER INSTEAD OF YOUR EMAIL BROWSER FOR THESE PHISHING WEBSITES ITS SUPPOSE TO SAY paypal.com/sign.us or something like that . i get these fakers everyother day i just delete them and pay them no attention. ive had paypal for 3yrs now & had never had them to email me about anything except receipt of payment. when i go to paypal i always click on my ebay account and find the paypal link and go through that way... once im on that way --i have it clicked on as a my favorite. just in case i dont want to go through ebay.. but i do go thru ebay to be safe.
also if pay pal gives you a email they will use your PERSONAL NAME.
not valued customer, pay pal user , or even once that had me confused had my personal email address name. (liked to have got me)
also if you do click on the browser thats when you look at the very top for top in the browser for the pay pal.com like in the top of this browser you see
http://www.turbobuick.com etc. etc. thats the way PP is suppose to look.
now the one that had my email address name did have me fool because get this it did have paypal.com in the browser. and it said i had 3 days or a specific date to respond or my acct would be closed. so thats when i went through ebay linked to pappal i had no messages & thats how i know it was fake. a good thing to do is when you get on the legit paypal site write down everything in the browser and leave it by the your computer so when you look it & it doesnt say the same thing then move on.
main thing PP will use your whole name when they get in touch with you just like when they leave you a receipt of payment through pay pal.
you can also go on their spam & security site for more info. hope this help.
