Just installed new fuel pump. 20 miles later car started running like crap. Oil in TB,plugs are oil saturated. What happened now.
Removed pcv and rattled it. It moves freely. every plug is shot. What's your folks best quesses. Thanks again
P.S. IF IT'S NOT ONE THING IT'S A ******* NOTHER!!!

Yep that's clean. Oil entering thru the vaccum on top of the t b I think. Turbo is fine.

Installed new pcv valve and spark plugs. disassembled throttle body and upper plenum. Clean them up and reassembled.

Started car and let it run for awhile. Started to run like crap again. Removed 1 plug and it was coated with oil film. Checked pcv hose to throttle body.It was dry this time.

Should I have run upper engine cleaner thru it before I install new plugs? Could there be that much oil left over from past problem?

A little background info is needed.

Has the intake ever been off and a new intake gasket installed?

What is the part number of the PCV you installed?

Did you recheck more than one plug? You should.

It's a newer engine and the lower intake has never been off. Used the pcv 893cv ( can't remember) but it is the one that was told to use from someone elses post. Checked 1 and 2 cylinders. It's not a wet oil like before. Now it is like dark carbon.
Since 1 and 2 are dirty I,m thinking they all are.

Or should I just run it and let the plugs I have in there now attract some more crap. Then change over plugs again?

Well, if they only have dark soot on them, it's probably more due to running rich. You been doing a lot of idling?
Takes quite a bit to foul a plug. I'd drive it for a week or so and then check them again. Check them after the car has been out driving around, not after an extended idle situation.
