Haha I was on streetfire just looking at vids and watched a video of a "badass" Nova. Anyways at about 3:20 it races a GN and it says it's in Philly. Anyways the Nova didn't seem too impressive to meet didn't even hear it spinning the DRs on the street and the GN was pretty even with it. Nothing that I would be going crazy about like they were, of course it seems like it was filmed by ricers.

Anyways is that you in the video or do you know who it probably is?

Can't be me in that video!! That GN lost! :tongue: That's nothing.. they race like that down there EVERY weekend night in the summer. You never see muscle cars. It's all rice. You'll see one or two Rustangs at best. But that's about what it looks like.. cops chase them over and over and they just move from block to block and back again. Cops will come in and just nail the first cars they catch. They have been breaking down it's amazing someone is'nt killed everyweekend down there!

haha yeah that's what happens up here with the cruising because no businesses will sponsor a cruise. So they just go from one lot to the next getting kicked out but the cops never really pull anyone over. We've started our own spots with our local board that we try to keep quiet to keep the rice out. Everything is way out in the country though where it's nothing but farms or in an industrial park where there's no cars at night on the weekends anyways.

Didn't you read my article in Hemmings!!?? :biggrin: The only thing a Rustang is good for is the fools that own them don't have a clue what the TTA is.. :biggrin: So they always try and play and get whooped on the street.. I've scared the crap out of the Rustang owners in the area with the GN.. they see that and usually just turn off at the next light. In a nut shell I just hate Ferd in general.

What's a TTA?

BTW, just bought a GN, waiting on inspection report before finalizing the deal. Under 7,000 miles.

haha that reminds me of a like 02 Mustang GT that I beat. All I had was a cutout, dragradials, and intake at the time. He was spraying like 100shot and I beat him by like 1 1/2 cars. Once we got back he had excuses galore, the biggest one was that he didn't have traction. I told him to go get some drag radials then. Oh and we made fun of him after that for losing to a pretty much stock V6 too he didn't like that.

The only excuse he should have made was that he was a crappy driver. With a 100 shot, he should have taken you easily. He would have been in the 320 rwhp and 400+tq range. Whataya want from benchracers. Some of these GT guys have 500+ and never race. I don't understand why spend all that coin for the power only to post dyno numbers.

Nah, only the ricer wannabes and bechracers. I know too many good guys who won't make excuses if they lost a race. You run what you brung and if someone beat you, you try and do better next time.

I remember this Supra TT with supposed 600rwhp taking on a little notch that was spraying a 200 pill getting his arse handed to him on Woodhaven Road one night. The Supra came up with every excuse imaginable, rather than shake the winners hand.

Mustangs arent bad

I'm sure I'm not the only member who drives a mustang to work everday and enjoys it and brings out the GN for racing. Mustangs are sweet rides and the chicks love them, and they growl a lil when ya need pick up.
