Hello,
Just wondering if anyone heard anything about why PHS can not offer any information on our cars at this time?

I saw on their web site that may 1st the prices were going up so I jumped and sent a request for PHS docs on two of my TTA's that I never knew the production numbers on. I also requested fax back service and window stickers.

I received a fax back a couple minutes ago stating the following:

Dear John,
Due to an internal reorganization, the vehicle information on 1987 & newer pontiacs is currently unavailable through Pontiac Historic Services.

We Apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Any one else here of whats going on and thus, does anyone know if this information is available anywhere else?

Thanks

Did they say they would send info on your new 79 ?

Man, I need to buy more cars. Your signature is growing at a very high rate
May I ask, what do you do for a living ?

Twin,
Ahh, no matter how fast it grows, I just can't catch up to you

PHS said anything 1986 and older is OK. but that does not help all of us with 89 TTA's

Hey, do you have any interest in a 97 Red Viper GTS with some miles? Might make a good 8 or 9 second street car like your last one??

I may be picking one up today if this guy comes through..........

Might be a good addition to your signature and get you back to your screen name :D

Talk to you later.

.. from what I understand.. there were recently some issues that legally had to be sorted out with GM... and PHS came thru well... much to the credit of the small dedicated PHS management .. but .. as far as being expensive.. this service is INEXPENSIVE and invaluable.. ..We are just SO LUCKY to have it... and have true enthusiasts at PHS .. and not just a talking horse call center...... ever tried getting the same infor or a mopar or most favorite chevy..

So has PHS resolved the issues? I only requested the info last week and was told it was not available. Has anyone else heard when we would be able to get packets on our cars?

Thanks

build sheets etc...

.. I understand that due to some internal changes at GM.. they currently can only handle orders on Pontiacs
from 1961 thru 1986. However, they do have all of the press information, production information, MVMA specs and other things like the sequence numbers for the TTAs and other newer vehicles.
Give them the thumbs up as they are striving for the best end results for the PONTIAC enthusiasts.

I wonder if it has somthing to do with the cars having to be 20 years old or somthing, maybe in a few years we'll be able to get TTA info again
John Pearcy is who told me what number 1415, 891 and 1025 were, I only orderd the stuff from PHS to add to my 'stuff' collection.
