You forgot the part about winning the trans brake kit AND the stroker crankshaft in the raffle with a mere $20 worth of tickets. I guess it's time for a 274" stock block eh? ;) Congrats to who ran well and thanks to all the folks that helped to make the event come together.

Neal

Even though I had by far the slowest TR at the event I still had a great time. My best ET was a 13.8 with a 1.96 60-foot on the whitewalls set at 22 psi, best MPH was about 100. The track officials did not say anything about the wirewheel covers, so I left them on. The motor and trans are both original with just under 200K miles, and I quickly discovered the car is in desparate need of valvesprings as it didn't want to rev much above 4000 RPM.
Despite making a dozen passes the track photographer did not (would not?) get an action shot, which was unfortunate as apparently the smoke show generated from heating up the whitewalls was "most noteworthy". :D Neal and I left Sunday morning around 8 AM and slogged through 7+ hours of traffic; the only hiccup we had was a squeaky left front brake that we quickly addressed with a screwdriver. :)

I was thinking of bringing it and let your sister borrow it :p .

Damn...No Class.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA;)
Now my kids will probably end up with every disease known to man for laughing at that.
****. Sorry I take it back. I'll go ahead and leave the post here though.

Damn!!! Chevota that was flat out Coool. Doing that with a 235 too. Wow.

Neal, your car kicks butt and alway looks so stock with you driving it there  some things never change :)

Lee, that sucks again, hope it gets all worked out.

Brent, are you ready for a big money pit? wait till your motor comes out, it will snow ball :)

So how about that hotair car? :) i was kinda mad i just start adding some timing and take some fuel out since i was around 820\'s on the 02\'s. it ran a 12.6 @107 on 22psi. i made 7 passes on friday and 3 on saturday. on the 3rd pass on saturday the turbo went out. major shaft play on a turbo that only has about 400 miles on it. i was upset that i didnt get to tune more to get it in the low 12\'s with more boost and some timing changes. anyways i wasnt to mad till i came out on sunday mourning and coolant started to drip from the car onto the trailer. it was leaking between the block and bell housing on the drivers side. so i tryed to find where it was coming from and there was no water in the oil but as soon as i cracked the radiator cap it starting flowing like crazy from the car. nick came over and took a look and says he thinks its a freeze plug that rusted threw on the back side of the motor. well now i have to pull the tranny again and replace the freeze plugs on the back of the motor. well next year i will be back with some 11 sec passes. o by the way i worked up on a few IC cars :) and a TRUE GNX :)
