someone loan me a lift and Ill take some shots underneath my car. Guess what happens to a frame when you mix in NY state winters with a daily driven TR?

not to mention the pass side door and parts of the trunk.

Right now I cant even start it, because the fuel supply line is rusted through, and was spitting out raw fuel the last time i had it out of storage.

Ive seen worse though. About 3 years ago I came across a 86 designer series, that had rust holes in the roof, the doors, the rear frame was worse than mine, rear quarters were shot, and it had somewhere around 163k on it. the guy wanted $3000 for it

As much as these pictures make me want to cry, the one good thing is that they make ours cars worth that much more.

Damm parts car beaters. ;) :p

If I sold mine for $3K I'd only have the GN to drive, no fun there.

Parts are worth 3X what the car is anyway. :D

At least it can run an 11 on pump gas.

here's a parts car !! welll WAS !!

That first car just needs a buff.

I see a girl that drives a GN to work by my house. I have watched it for the last 7 years now. It's in bad shape and I havent seen it in the last 4 months so I think it finnaly craped out on her.

Closer to the subject of salvagable cars that are neglected not parts cars.
Another owner that won't sell as he's going to fix it one day:rolleyes: , I've seen this car sit for 3+ yrs now mostly in mud almost up to the frame:mad: Not a great pic as he had another car infront of it at the time of the pic

Because he can... I've done the same thing. I have a couple of em' and who cares, they are still cars, what are you going to do, put them in storage? I cut the front of my frame of the other day, in goes the tubing soon. Why have something if you can't do what you want to it anyway?:)

Why in the world would you do that to one of these cars  :(

because some cars are worth more in parts than fixing .. Can't tell ya how many 67 Shelby GT 500 Mustangs I did to :p "If in doubt piece it out" :D

I'll have to get pics of these, but there are two TR's witin 8 miles of my house. One was a mint 87 GN in excellent shape, that got parked under a tree. The guys wife used to drive it as a daily. One day it wouldnt start and they never messed wit it. I even tried to to buy it once, I called and asked. " is the buick for sale?" He replied No , and i know how much its worth.

Second one is about 50 yards away for this one, across the freeway, under a carport. Its an 86 type Limited, i looked in the window it had a column shift, all 4 tires were flat. I remember seeing it run at the local dragstrip in 95 , running 11.80's
I knocked on the door and a women came out, I asked if she didint mind me looking at the car and if i could open the hood.
I noticed a ATR DP, TA49, stretched FMIC, atr headers, 36#'s, line lock, and all the normal bolt ons. Major turn off, rats have eaten the plug wires and some of the wiring. " there was even a dead rat still next to the master cyclinder. Even though the paint was very dusty and cob webs all around the car, i opend the door and the inside was in excellent shape. I'll stop by these houses and get the pics and post them up this weekend on this thread.
Before i left the house with the Limited the owner pulled up in some modded WRX...Geeze

Yeah it was.. I probably have another pic of it somewhere when I was still a neglected car....

Another... BTW, what did you ever end up doing with it?
