i pulled the motor out rebult it put it in my gn and ran the **** out of it. the tranny is still in my car that runs low 12 all i did was change the fuiled

I don't have a picture, but I went and looked at a stolen/recovered 85 once that had a brown bench seat on concrete blocks, and an assortment of 14" junkyard rims and tires. $1800 - should have bought it and stuck it in storage, I didn't have the time to devote to it.

So with it being abandoned in Mexico would be a problem just hooking it up to a trailer and bringing it into the States? If getting a title for it is a problem you could at least fix it up for a really nice track car.

It's been three years since I took those pics....The car actually has a legit owner....He bought it at a salvage auction in Dallas Texas back in 86....It was a stolen recovery.....said he paid 11k for it with little or no miles on it....I heard about the car over the years and tracked the owner down in an attempt to buy it....he sent me to the "body shop" pictured and asked me to make him an offer....he had left the car there for at least two years with a window down....the body shop owner told me the owner never brought him materials and/or money to restore the car...I went back to the owner and offered him 2k for it and he burst out laughing at my offer....he said "you and I both know what this car is!"...I just left it at that....I tried to get a shot of the serial number, but It didn't really show up...The car is probably still there and is probably worth more money to the owner now....Obviously, the body is in poor, poor shape....Drivetrain looks pretty stock and unmolested...maybe I'll take a ride out there sometime and check it out again....
