just want everyones opinions on this little piece of rubber. i know some say to not use it as it doesnt allow full suspension travel at launch. so whats the real deal for those cutting good 60 ft times?

come on suspension gurus, i know your out there! this is a popular piece. it seems to be on every newbies "must have" list right up there with air bags! any opinions! i yanked mine off. did i do the right thing??

hey Matt, I've been using a snubber also and decided to ditch it a while back but have not had a chance to compare 60' times yet. Red Armstrong swares they are not needed and hinder susp travel, while others say they are necessary. I guess the only way is to try it both ways. but it would be nice to hear if someone else has already done this comparo.

thanks! i know theres some people on here that have strong opinions about it but guess they arent around so i'll give it a big TTT!

I tossed mine and my 60fts improved by 1/10th. I think it really depends on the condition of the car's suspension to begin with. My rear coils are worn out, so it could have been bouncing off the snubber at launch.
Doesn't hurt to try it before and after.
5 minutes of work..........
