porting/gasket question..

Is there a difference in aftermarket gaskets and stock gaskets when it comes to the runner opening dimensions for which you would gasket match your heads and intake too? I will be using the aftermarket gaskets to seal it up, but i don't have one right now to compare with and wanted to start porting away, plus you can see the factory gasket lines on the intake already....

(i also posted this on the general tech board, but on second thought should have posted it here, sometimes you get looked over when you say "hot air")

FELPRO...I think it is MS 96033 Valley Pan intake manifold gasket set

that i think is the most popular one out there.

Thanks!!! I will be using the Felpro gasket, but i don't have one right now. If you put a Felpro gasket up to a stock gasket, is the area around the runners the same size?? Since I have a stock gasket, i was wondering if porting to the stock gasket dimensions would be the same as the felpro.... does that make sense?

I found the answer, actually Cohenn Banning gave it to me, The Fel-Pro MS96033 does have sightly larger ports when compared to the stock gasket.
