I think that the Matador has got to be one of the ugliest cars ever built. I always wondered what the engineers at AMC were smoking to come up with their ugly A-S-S cars? The only good looking AMC was the AMX.
I have always loved the 427 Cobra roadsters. They are completely impractical, but so is a P51 Mustang, and I REALLY want one of those. Closest I have come to a P51, is building engines out of them. (Merlins) and I have actually touched one, too. (you want my autograph? :biggrin: ) Grumpy has owned a 427 Cobra (I think)

Since my uncle Bill was a bigwig at the airport, When the air shows would come to town I always got backstage and sat in many diff types of ww2 planes including a P51 but the last time was when I was like 13 and back then they were just planes, no nostalgic value to a 13yr old so I really didnt appreciate what i was touching, I wanted to get to the blue angels...kinda like a kid going right for the new Z06 insted of the 57
