original paint, posi, ps, trunk release, rear defogger, concert 2, hardtop, original tires, all stock except r134 convert., one owner near mint overall...what would be a fair price in today's market and any predictions on future value when this economy turns around?

thanks

$17-19k today. $22-24k in a couple years. As long as the car does not need new paint and has no body damage and of course runs properly and was not smoked in.

That is a can of worms.....waiting to be opened question.

15k is a steel 20k is avg. 25ktop$ IMO

Brett just looked at a bunch of primo cars and I always look at the upper end stuff so we are close.

I would say around 25k as described.
Do your self a favor, don't buy the car looking for future money. Buy it to enjoy it and if it goes up in value you can just enjoy the profit when it happens.
Good luck

Bryan

If the car is mint with original paint I wouldnt sell it for less than $24k.

In this economy you'd be lucky to get $20k...probably more like $18k...UNLESS you take your time and find the right buyer. Probably have your best luck selling it on this site, as most here understand the value. Every other Joe Schmuck out there wouldn't have a clue as to what they were looking at. Good luck with the sale.

Fixed.

Ummm, no.

any predictions on future value when this economy turns around?

See my post from 2008 when another fellow suggested the same.

There is no turning around. Anyone who truly understands what is happening in our economy knows there is no going back. It is broken at the foundation, has been for 70+ years, and the patches and fixes they implemented in the past to keep they system going are all used up. Sad but true.

The values have bottomed for now and will increase some this spring. If you try to sell it between March and June you should be ok.
