This is a VERY low mileage TE44 from PT&E. One of my customers had it installed late last year and the car only saw weekend cruising and a few track passes. This guy is crazy about changing oil and filters so it has NEVER seen any dirty oil through it! Turbo does not leak, use oil, or smoke...no excessive shaft movement/play.

$830 new....will sell for $530 shipped in the lower 48...includes HD wastegate actuator.

Dalton, I have run one with factory converter and it works great. I actually last week stepped up to a larger stall (personal preference). I went with 60 lb. injectors for future upgrades, but guys run this turbo with 42's as well. It's a great turbo and spools well.

I ran mine with 009's and the stock converter!! I loved it, but as we all do in the quest to go faster I stepped up to a 6152 and a PTC converter for this year. Anyway's this is one of the best street turbo's your gonna find. Also you can't go wrong with anything from Joe. He tells it like it is!!;)

Interested in turbo just wondering what injectors and stahl speed convertor to run with this turbo. Thanks. Dalton1977@aol.com

The previous posts about stall answer your question.

If your injecting alky/meth in theory you could get by with OE injectors...I went 120 mph in the 1/4 with OE injectors and a TE44 with a bunch of meth. It really just depends on the rest of your combo and how hard your going to zing the turbo. To be safe I would run something larger...blue tops, 009's, 50's etc... The TE44 is a great tried and true work horse that's been around for a long while.

What did you ever decide on to address the suspension for a better 60' time?

I don't know that there is anything wrong with the car, I think 99% of my problem is the driver!!;) I've got ant atr sway bar with UMI lowers, and double adjustable uppers, and the pinion angle set to 4 degree's. I also have a PTC converter on the way. :D

Is that -4 or 4? Either way it's too much! I would shoot for 0 or at the most -2 for a street car. I had my TTA set at -1.5 and that was probably right at max. Call me if you'd like, I've done a ton of research on pinion angle and a bunch of trial and error...mostly error. 913-244-3829

LOL on your last post Joe :)

I just scored a used one locally, real cheap. No issues, other than two broken elbow bolts:rolleyes: ; and it even came with a old school fender dump AND a TT 5.6 chip.

Like I said Joe 99% driver/tech!!! Thanx for the feedback, I'll bring that angle down! It is -4 right now. I'm still learning the car. Jason

You mean bring it up right? No problem Jason, that's how we got learned...trail/error and lots of late nights on the boards;) Seriously though, I would shoot for -1 and call it good....your diff will love you for it.

Sounds good, thanks for the input! I'll give it a shot and see what happens. The worst that can happen is I actually get better than a 1.7-.8 60 ft time!;)
