I have been trying to track it for 3 days now and I still get the same message! I guess he is trying to buy time now.

If I am doing something wrong on the UPS website PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

He gave you the shipment ID # instead of the tracking #. You can trace it at UPS under reference #'s. The package is on the way to California & should be there on 11/20/08. Is that the right address?? I know when i've shipped to you it wasn't California... i hope this works out OK.

to his defense JUST ON THIS POINT ONLY - i bought a NEW Turbo from a fellow board member and the tracking number he provided led to pkg which was said to weigh about 7-8 lbs - I WAS SOOOOOOO NERVOUS.... but it arrived and it was exactly what it was said to be - although it weighed a lot more than 7-8 lbs ..... so dont exactly know how they figured the weight.

The tracking number he provided was to California. The purchaser of those parts received them.

I know you said you opened a "dispute" with paypal,(which is done over the internet), but have you actually called paypal & discussed this situation with a live representative over the phone? Knowing he provided you w/ a tracking # through their site & then obviously sending it to a totally different adddress than the one you have on file with PAYPAL & them not being able to help you somehow just doesn't seem reasonable..... I would call them!!!

Still nothing from him. Will not answer phone or return emails. Waiting for 6 DEC when Paypal should give me my money back.

Somebody PM me his information. I will give it to the GN club president. That way, if he tries to do anything with the club they will have a heads up and leave him out of any function and not buy anything from him.

It's a Shame that every once in a while this happens.I got beat for a $1,000
dollars. On a motor.
I felt it was my fault.
This because I was too anxious. And rhe guy was too far a way.

PayPal will only refund what is available in his account - Ask my how I know.

It's a good idea to get a Pay Pal debit card that is backed by Master Card. Master Card was able to recover funds for me when Pay Pal wasn't. I would also get this matter turned over to the police & most are set up to deal with internet fraud. Good luck.

Its on now. I wanted to try to resolve this peacefully and I gave him plenty of time. If anyone of you know him, let him know I am coming after him and I will be pulling no punches. I have contacted the FBI and will be calling the locals. Also I will be letting his employer know he has a thief working for him. If anyone else can help, I would appreciate it! I saved for 8 freakin months to buy a turbo, hell I don't make that much money anyway. He had great feedback and sent me pics. I just don't understand! Anyway thanks everyone for the help I have received. OBTW, Paypal SUX!
