Pump for old style SMC

I have the square bottle older design system and the pump is giving out. PSI is dropped to 45. Anyone have luck with replacement pumps ? I have read some mention ebay pumps but no feedback on them, and yes, I contacted Steve but he didn't have any substitute pump info to offer. Has anyone used another type for an extended period with any luck, running pure meth with klotz lube in mine.

Do a search this has been discussed i replaced mine with a chrysler pump i think it came out of an Acclaim 89 or 90 but it's like building a ship in a bottle

As I said, some have mentioned the ebay pumps (info from already doing a search ) but few/none have mentioned any EXTENDED success running replacement pumps.

I don't think methanol is good for EFI style pumps it's far more corrosive than ethanol.

I've got 4 years now on my Walbro GSS242 with ethanol and lube, and prior to that it had about 15 years or so on gas usage.
