The person who setup the car should know these answers I would think, so why all the secrecy?
So can I assume you must have been running something north of 30# boost? And likely launched off the t-brake.

It's less than 30# boost, and the 9.94 pas was off the foot brake. She tried a couple soft transbrake launches to try and get used to it. They were throw away passes......
Our tune up won't work for every car. You know as well as I Dave, I tell everyone the tune up......Guess what eveybody's gonna go do......... I can see a whole bunch of mushroom clouds from here........ It ain't happenin.
Christ, as it is I just saved the world from buyin dumb ass iridium plugs.....

Awe man.... come on spill some of the beans. At least some boost / timing numbers in 3rd gear. Little tid-bits here and there aren't gonna hurt anybody....:smile:

well we did track rentals so you could make changes and see right away how the car liked it .. easier than a reg race day where ya get 3 runs in all day
I really don't think her tune would do most people any good .. most cars have a different "assortment" of parts ..

I don't think posting the Real launch & WOT boost numbers along with gears or tire size and pressure is refering to "the tune" I don't belive there will be a plume off smoke from blown engines from that! I belive that is what dave orriginally asked. everyone's not asking for your set A/F ratio number or your VE numbers or scanmaster readings!

have no idea ... like I said just a scanmaster Melissa does whatever she "feels" the car will take to get it out .. thats her decision not ours. Congrats on the 9 sec pass..awesome.
It has been preached time and time again by people plenty faster than myself that what works for one car will not work for someone elses. I dont blame you Russ or Dan for not telling all the tips and tricks. When you are going that fast it is a ticking time bomb if all is not 100% right. You have to work your way up to that speed with many hours of tuning your "own" car...not what a magazine or the internet tells you what it should be. I agree with Russ that if you posted a list of the EXACT things you had done to the car on that 9 second pass you would have 100 guys on this board doing the same thing and it might not produce the same results. It might produce a blown engine and bad feelings and I know thats not what you guys want to see happen. I myself enjoy the challenge of test-n-tuning...whats the fun if its all given to you. What would I do on a saturday night if my car actually ran as fast as I wanted to and I was satisfied? Oh yea.. I'm a hotrodder....I will NEVER be satisfied.
