I have a Ruger Super Redhawk .44 mag. 7 1/2'' barrel stainless steal that I am going to sell. Is it legal to sell a gun on the interenet? How would I know if the person on the other computer is an adult or not?
Thanks...

You can sell guns on the internet but the sale has to be face to face with the buyer, and the buyer has to be a resident of the same state you are conducting the sale in.

Most gun guys have at least 1 friend with a FFL the can receive it for them.

To protect your butt you should carry it to a FFL dealer and have them ship to the buyer's FFL dealer of choice. That way there is a paperwork trail to protect both parties...

Like Shane said. That is the best way to protect both parties.....

BTW Shane I sure could use a nice new Compact XDM9 (BLK)!!! Hint, Hint... lol

For a hand gun this is true. Long guns have different rules unless they've changed again. You could purchase a long gun if the state was next to yours legally but like I said, this may have changed.

Charlie, you are close enough to Mexico to run down and get some of those ATF guns....;)
