Well, the flag I fly in my avatar is the state flag of Georgia before they changed it.

It incorpoates the Battle Flag, which was carried by Southern soldiers as they were defending their homes and fighting for independence. So it stands as a memorial to those men.

Today, it's still a battle flag and it still memorializes those soldiers. But the enemy is now political correctness. That's it in a nutshell.

i found that kinda odd that Bruce did that also, but like Bobby said noone's trying to make a big deal out of it. i really, really didn't understand what the statement meant, " live by it ". that's all. why was i supposed to be prepared for the answer when this was all it was.

Some people are trying to turn the symbol into something it's not. Other people who follow them or believe their propaganda may "interpret" it differently (incorrectly).

all i really wanted to know is how someone can live by a flag, that's it. i wasn't trying to make more of it than it was, i wasn't getting upset, i wasn't going to start calling people something their not, just wanted to know. if i don't know i'm going to ask.
