My local ATV shop offers different grades of VP race gas. Wondering what the difference is between the "C" and the "Q" prefix? They're selling Q116 in 5 gallon cans now, and I want to run the highest octane I can. Just wondered if I can run that in my car without issues.

It'll clog up your O2 sensor in short order and best not have a cat but otherwise the engine will be fine. You'll need to add timing to make it run best at wot unless you have a bunch of knock now already.

Ditto It will over time kill the O2, run the Denso it will stand up the longest against the 116. I don't know about the Q or C but the 116 is the best for big timing and boost.

Thanks for your input, guys. I guess I should have elaborated a little better. This is for my Rosewood car. Mods are in my sig. Plan on turning it up a bit for BG this year. Been running 110-112 (only at the track). Boost is around 25lbs. Nobody in my area sells Sunoco maximal (c116) anymore, so I'm looking for something comparable in octane. Not real sure what the difference is between the C and Q. Didn't wanna be stuck running the 110 the track sells.

No, there's really nowhere locally that sells e85.
