June 26th RACE
I have contacted the Holiday Inn Holidome in Topeka for a group rate for the Pontiac Race at Heartland Park on June 26th. If you are coming in on fri. just let them know how many days you need.
The rate is 59.00 plus taxes. Has plenty of trailor parking and and indoor pool for the kids. Plus there is restuarant and bar if needed. Their phone # is 785-272-8040 and request the Heartland Park Group Rate.
It is right off I-70 about 100yds. YOu will exit I-70 at the Fairlawn Ave exit then head south and you will see it just past the stop light.It will take about 15 min or less to get to the track from there. Let me know if you want directions from the Hotel and I will post them.

Update on the race!!!!
Well the racing over and I want to thank all the Buick guys and gals that came out to race!! After first round only 2 of us remained and then in the finals my 70 GS was the last Buick standing!! Anyway I put down my reaction times for a good laugh here and I had a camaro guy tell John Conilog "That old man tree'd me!!!

Yup I redlit!!! I was running in the 10.30 -40 range all day. I won $35 per round win so I had to donate to the pizza fund. Must have been a magic show in the parking lot at the Holidome too some girl sure thought there was
And now I was told that my car was literaly lifting the LR tire high enough to jump over a ball cap Anyone have any idea what thats about??
Next year I am already getting the info for the Buick vs Pontaic shootout together!!! Hope to see you all there!!
