We have been invited to race. This weekend is the PONTIAC race on .JUNE 26 2004 IF we can put up 40 <A TITLE="Click for more information about car" STYLE="text-decoration: none; border-bottom: medium solid green;" HREF="http://search.targetwords.com/u.search?x=5977|1||||cars|AA1VDw">car</A>s or more we will make it extend the time frame to race. or we can race in the "off breed" class they have. It is at Heartland park Topeka.

Cost is about $45 a car and driver for the day.

Now with that said and we have enough cars we could start a P VS B race like Oklahoma does They are inviting us out to race anyway so we should show up to run the P cars !!!! I will be there too.

If we just go out this year to feel it out we can just play in the off breed class. I hear $35 payback every round won!!!

Ok please let me know if its possible for anyone to be here thanks !!

Talk to Dave B. and see if you could combine the Kearney race. YOu would probably draw more cars to Topeka and save $$$$$. Sounds like fun. Two weeks prior to the BPG national event. Be there.

I am not sure if I understand you or not, but we (as in the turbo buick community) have been invited to race in Topeka Kansas July 31st 2004? Are there any rules on who can/can not race in this event? If it is open to anybody us folks from Nebraska could make it down. Not 100% sure but I would imagine that 3-5 people from Lincoln would be interested in attending.

Keep us posted

If we get a good car count we will set up a heads up run wachabrung deal!! If not we will race in their off breed class (racket race) The only rule I could think of would be buickcar/buick powered

race

The main question the tulsa okla guys have is what safety rules will be inforced ?????? no roll bar- no race ????? long studs ???? c-clip elim ????? let us know, thanks ted

Count me in as well Mike. I would love to see some TTAs runnning against pontiacs!

John and all interested,

The Kearney race is already a go for next year and I am trying to get a secured date now. I have already recieved emails showing interest, and have NO intentions of killing the race off, or combining it with another somewhere else. We will have private access to the track again next year just like before. ALL of the monies collected from sponsors will again be paid out to the participants. Thats 100% folks, ALL of it !!!! That is the way I run the race and that the only way I will do it. I am not interested in making money on this, and I WILL NOT take a plug nickel from the event. When I took it over the decision was made to make it as much fun as possible for the participants. That alone is my single most inportant goal. A bracket race, for bracket racers, by a bracket racer. With a decent payout for a small event too. Last year paid $650 to win a 30 car class.

Mike, in regards to the Topeka race I will be there with my car to run the Pontiac boys too. And I have talked to a couple buddies about coming with. All I will need is a confirmed date and I will add it to my schedule that I am working on now. And How about a close motel that we all can land at to extend the fun away from the track and into the evening ;) . Your the local on this, where do we stay man ? I will talk to ya on the phone more as time draws near.

later........................

I will be at Kearney also, so lets put the gas pedal down for both races all the BUICK guys need to be there.

Dave get a post on this board to get everyone to put this and the Kearney race on their schedules!!!!

I will probably be at both races but most likely as a spectator. I plan on spending all of next summer just working the bugs out of this car so it won't be raceable(doesn't have ANY required safety equipment anyways). It'd be a great experience to just talk to the tr veterans.
