I have seen those homemade ones, home depot T fitting with a screen of some sort but this Ve-Labs Coolant Filtering and Inspection Systems - JEGS item looks interesting, i mean i have thought about filtering the radiator coolant some how but i wonder people's thoughts on the idea?? looks like this unit will get CLOGED fast:( so instead how about those universal glass fuel fitlers by the heather hose or so etc, maybe one from the coolant res to the radiator IDK IDEAS GUYS, with a 3/4 fitting or whatever size is needed. Just would like some comments/thoughts on this idea or i would say overlooked area.

I don't see any need to do it. Just flush the system once a year or more if you're worried about it.

oh its not for me i was reading a post about overheating due to clogged radiator etc, but i thought about it n its not a bad idea i'll give it a try n see after a flush n fill if anything will be shown in the filter
