radiator fuild filter?? good idea or no??

I have seen those homemade ones, home depot T fitting with a screen of some sort but this Ve-Labs Coolant Filtering and Inspection Systems - JEGS item looks interesting, i mean i have thought about filtering the radiator coolant some how but i wonder people's thoughts on the idea?? looks like this unit will get CLOGED fast so instead how about those universal glass fuel fitlers by the heather hose or so etc, maybe one from the coolant res to the radiator IDK IDEAS GUYS, with a 3/4 fitting or whatever size is needed. Just would like some comments/thoughts on this idea or i would say overlooked area. :wink:

I don't see any need to do it. Just flush the system once a year or more if you're worried about it.

oh its not for me i was reading a post about overheating due to clogged radiator etc, but i thought about it n its not a bad idea i'll give it a try n see after a flush n fill if anything will be shown in the filter
