SignUp Now!Thanks again for the lead. Just got my radio back from Tony and now its back in perfect working order. If you want your radio refurbished this is the guy to talk to. His name is Anthony Barlos. He fixed mine and added iPod aux jack out the back. Email him to get his contact info. I told him I wouldn't just put his phone number out there for everyone. He did an excellent job on mine and had a fast turn around time.

Very reasonable. Besides fixing the problem I reported to him he inspected the rest of the radio, replaced the belt, burnt out lamps, checked out the sound board, etc. and in the end charged me less than his original quote. He even mailed back the defective parts he replaced.Awesome. I'm glad it worked out. Was the price still reasonable?
Did he do the "aux" cable upgrade on yours? If he did, im definitely interested. I think i emailed him weeks ago. Must of not gone threw or spam. Idk.Very reasonable. Hey Eagleguy, did you know that they came out with something recently (around 1980-81) called the "cd"? For real, and it actually sounds better than cassettes!I have tried avoiding replacing my concert series radio but now cassettes will not eject. Anyone try the RetroSound Newport DIN 1.5 Radio iPod Bluetooth, Part# GM 260-660
HaHa, Truth be told I was really trying to use a bunch of custom mix tapes my old partner made me back in the day. Guess I will have to put them on CD. Just ordered a new set up from Crutchfield. Once the install is done I will send my OEM radio out for repair. I also found a cool install kit on ebay that has a slot to hold CD's under it instead of having the dead space like on the regular install kits many use..Hey Eagleguy, did you know that they came out with something recently (around 1980-81) called the "cd"?
