What is the crossbar for?? Looks short to go Frame rail to frame rail?

Yes, the crossbar goes in between the frames to connect them. That bar is actually 45" long. I believe it's actually 43" from frame to frame. We purposely cut it a couple inches longer so the installer can cut it for a perfect fit.

Yes, it does reinforce both sides of the frame rail. The bar mounts in between the frame rails in the upper corner, in front of your spring perches.

I have cruzn57 working on the install pics. It's fairly easy with the right tools. I do have instructions that come with the kit that easily explain. And if anybody have any problems they can contact me directly for more help anytime.

kit arrived .......

I am removing gas tank, rear end, anything in that area, as I'm changing all of that anyways. ( 9in, and fuel cell going in)
I'll have the frame notched, and plates tacked in later today,
