today I renewed the license tags on the WE4. (here in AZ)
I was able to buy tags for the next 5 years, ( will expire in 2017)
cost? $65 total! ( for all 5 yrs)

Just got the renewals for all our cars of course for 1 year...
2010 Hyundai Sonata ~$280
2004 Jeep Liberty $104
1986 Buick T-Type $109

I am grateful there is no smog due this year on the Buick but I have to laugh; the license fee is $5 more on the 26 year old Buick than the 8yr old Jeep.

AZ. bases the fee's depending upon the value of the car. Try registering a new $30 or $40k car. The first few years are pretty high. Does your T-Type qualify for Historic Vehicle plates & is there any benefit to you? My '87 just qualified this year for being 25 yrs old. In my state I no longer have to go through emissions testing & the plate does not need renewing every year.
