Removing rubber from exhaust

I used Bug & Tar remover in a spray can . Sprayed it on , let set for a bit , then used a plastic scraper to get the heavy stuff off finished with steel wool & a rag .

WD40 works good on the quarter panel.
Wondering if it work a on the exhaust?

why not just drive it? I'm sure it would stink and smoke for a while then it would probably disappear. JMO.

Leave it on, wear it like a badge of honor!

Maybe cause it's been pretty warm here, but the rubber has stayed really sticky. I was able to scrape some off but cleaning it is turning into a giant mess. I read on here years ago that you can spray pledge on your exhaust and the rubber will just wipe right off. I'm gonna give that a try once I get this cleaned up.

Lacquerer thinner or reducer. Knock the large chunks off by hand. I use thinner on my quarters too. Just requires a light wax to bring back the shine. I DONT recommend this on factory GM paint, as you will have issues with thinner or reducer eating the paint.
