Im Going To Fmic I Cant Pick Between Rjc Or Precision How About Input And Pics Thanks Scott:)

RJC would be my first choice but I do like the Prescision SLIC. It was on the car I bought. If starting from scratch I would go RJC. With alky who cares so get what u personally like.
 
well he did say he has already made a decision to go to a front mount. RJC all the way :cool:
 
RJC's has been reported via datalogged passes (not BS claims or coulda , would, shoulda)the best numbers for a commercially available unit these days. By commercially available i mean i could call him Monday morning and have one overnighted to me on the other side of the country and install it the next day. This does not mean it will work better than a Precision fm in a car that doesnt use a lot of air since the precision has very good heat rejection. Keep in mind RJC core is heavier and will add more weight to the nose. That would be the only downside unless your engine was capable of using a lot of air. Like a solid 9 sec 135+mph car.
 
I vote RJC, from a street car standpoint.... if you look directly at an RJC and a PTE mounted to a car you will see the smaller core of the PTE, BUT MORE importantly you will see the BIG CAST END TANKS Blocking the airflow to your radiator.... sure the RJC might be heavier but its size is perfect, the core allows airflow through the fmic AND the radiator....

....if you car is drag only.... buy whatever cheaper, both have been proven to go fast.... i love my RJC though....great customer service as well.
 
i have cottons front mount and like it. i think it and the rjc are pretty close but dont hold me to that
 
I think the RJC cooler is 36 lbs and the PTE is +40 with its cast alum. tanks.

Does anyone know the weight of Cottons?

Can anyone comment on the fitment of Cottons vs RJC?
