The reason the 2F2F Skyline was so slow was that the movie comp made it RWD instead of AWD. So the launch was slower, and all the performacne parts werent connected. No N2O, intake, or anything. The show cars, and the cars they drive are totally different. So R&D tested a RWD Skyline with a muffler or cat back, and alot of un-needed weight. A stock Skyline runs about the same times as a STi. But the Skyline is de-tuned to meet Japans standards (280hp). So it takes to modifications like a GN would. It is like the Japenese version of the Corvette.
