Just wanted to give the Mac people another option.

Virtual Box with the extension pack installed. Windows XP.
So far most of the keys are working properly. I haven't logged any runs yet, but it is up and running and monitoring .

I'm pumped, can't wait to test this out some more.

I've been using Parallels. Its super nice in that it allows you to run windows programs as if they were native to mac. Wish performance companies would start developing for mac more often but its a small sacrifice to make when using this awesome logging software!

Anyone have a step by step to set this up?
I'm purchasing a power logger and have a MacBook Pro. Would love to use that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have no idea which direction I was planning on going. So let's say I download Parallels Transporter (is the correct one, only one I can find in the app store)? What's up next?

EDIT: I found Parallels on their own website

parallels transporter will not work. you need the full version. I bought an ancient copy of windows 7 and installed it using parallels. Once you get that going you set it up to run in coherance mode. This will share the files and HD space with OSX. So at this point all you need to do is plug into the powerlogger. Be sure windows is running and open the PLC.exe

OK, back up top.
I'm not sure what coherence mode is, although I haven't messed around with it much, but I've installed Parallels and Windows 7. I was able to get the files to my desktop and ran PLC.exe
That seemed to work perfectly. I believe my next step is to just plug the Mac into the ECM and then run PLC.exe. It should then ask to install the drivers? Correct?
I ran out of daylight today, so I'll wire the rest of it up tomorrow and test it out. Just wanted to make sure I'm on the right track

Nevermind. Was able to get out to the car today, install the PL and after some fiddling with the drivers, it's works perfectly. Although, I will admit it took me a good 20 minutes before I realized you had to click monitor for it to start reading values, lol.

Thanks for all the help
