I don't think you will be able to tell with a scanmaster if your MAF is working properly. Even with DS or Powerlogger it's difficult unless the MAF is failing severly. The best thing is swap the MAF out with a known good one and see what happens.

I was going to talk with Mike at Fullthrottle but kept missing him. Should I spend $90 on a new 3.5" maf or go $189 for a 4" pipe with maf in it? Would it be worth the extra? It will probably cost even more by the time I get the rest of the cold air and filter figured out.

I like the second option, for the simple fact you've upgraded once not twice. Ie having to upgrade to a 4" MAF later from 3.5" ;)

Just order the 4" from Mike (which is on special for $159). I"m going to put that on along with the cam sensor cap and see what happens. If that doesn't do it I'll probably send my translator in for a check up just to make sure. I also found out why I have to run my the fuel so rich on my translator (14% rich). It was probably from my no screen maf.
