RWHP on pump gas....?

Anyone have any high RWHP numbers on pump gas/alky? I know a well built StageII GN can put about 1300 RWHP max with twin turbos and C16 but I don't recall any big numbers on pump gas/alky?

Anyone have any good numbers?

No one? Thats kinda what I thought which is why I will likely go SBC turbo with the next build or something similar. At $9.00 a gallon its just not cost effective to drive on the street. I guess thats another reason why Cal, Otto, Etc. are moving on to V8"s.

So you are saying you can make 1300 HP on pumpgas on a SBC?

The bottom line is how much can you afford spend . There's plenty of v8s that make huge power the thing is those parts aint cheap just easier to find and get than a buick v6. I worked on a few pump gas marine 540s that make 1300 hp with a procharger blower there about 20,000 complete they only run 8 or 9 lbs of boost . I think that if i wanna make big power even if i can run it on pump gas at that expense i might run 104 unleaded or something like that just to be sure it hangs together for a while . Laz
