I bought her in July, blew out second gear band, waited about a month to get a replacement trans. She ran like crap under hard / full throttle acceleration, retard, retard. She almost sounded like Curly from the three stoodges when he would be freaking out about something Ayayngyayyay.
So threw some money at her not knowing much about Grand Nationals but it didnt deter my enthusiasm. Bought, an alky control to replace the antiquated SMC alky on the hobbs switch. Bought, new plugs(e3 china crap on testimonials), wires, coil pack, ignition control, lt1 maf, translator, CCCI hotwire she ran better but still stumbling from timing retarding. Replaced the knock sensor and my god running much better and knock counts down to near none. Replaced them sh-itty e3 plugs with CR42TS and gapped them at .030 and she is running like the beast I thought she would when I first bought her. I am amazed at how hard I can hammer down at any given moment now. Just wow
