I purchased a transmission from a trans builder who i am not going to name cause i dont want to cause any trouble.. I am afraid that if i drive the car anymore i am going to be picking the driveshaft up from along the road... It upshifts and downshifts shifts extremely hard. Supposably already has the .500 boost valve, billet servo and monte ss governer ...I am debating on either trying to get my money back or just void my warranty and have a good operating transmission... After doing some searching it looks like the general concensus is ckperformance shift kit... Anybody in here ever run into a dilemma like this, If so what did you do and how did it work out? Thanks

The CK kit is the best kit on the market IMO.

I've use the TransGo, PTS, Art Carr, and CK kit.
The CK kit is simple, effective, and easy to install.
I do my own VB mods but the end result is functionally the same as the CK kit, and I am not going to package what I use up. No reason to compete with one that works.

We've spoken. I'll email you back in a second.

First I'd contact the builder to see if he goofed. It does happen. Give him the chance to make it right and if not Lonnie or Chris are both good choices.

Let's just say that this builder can't seem to get a 200-4R right...

Good reason to stay with a proven builder in the TurboBuick community.
