I am pretty sure my problem is found here in the dome light as you can see from the pictures. What I don't understand is why the white lead sticks out that direction (which has been fried). I'm not sure what a good wire would lead to. I'd love to just have a good factory one that I could put bullet connectors to go into my stock harness. Thoughts on how you would fix this? The connectors have a super nice factory crimp that will probably be tough for me to match.

Probably have to cut the wire upstream a bit and slide some shrink tubing over the place that touches, then resolder back together. I had to fix my map light years ago, forgot how I did it.
