Slow spool with 70BB

What would be a good stall speed for a 70 single BB turbo ?

Have a CK Trans & 10" LUTC ( requested aprox 3200 stall ).

Car doesnt build boost till about mid intersection when punched from an idle.
RPM at 0# is about 26-2700.

Have tried to tune quicker spool , but no luck.

Is a higher restall the way to go ?

P.S. car is very light , 2800 # , could that cause a lower stall ?

Car is on the light side.Converter may need to be restalled.How long ago did you get it?Im sure we can get it restalled if it wasnt too long ago.Does the trans work as promised?Are you happy with the product?

Bought the Trans/TC about 3 years ago, 2 years of that was building the car, so its got about 500 miles on it now.

Whats the a/r on the turbo?

Its a P series .63 housing.

You need a different converter. Re-stalling wont cut it if you are going to turn it up. You will drive over it under power once its loose enough to get the turbo spooled.

Time to step it up and lose the lockup!
