Snow Storm - Translation We were closed today

In case you place orders over the weekend or tried calling our office today Monday this area go thit with 6-10 inches of snow beginning earlier this am.

Unlike the previous hits this one was the wet heavy kind that puts a strain on old guys like me who shovel it.

We expect to be open Tuesday.

This would have been the year to own a plow service business.

Its been years since this area has been hit with so many measurable snow falls in such a short time.
Even my cats don't venture out.

We have had a rough winter here in the midwest as well. Had a 12" snow fall in one day here. Have 8"-10" coming tomorrow...been brutal cold too !!!!! Single digits to below zero, havent seen this for many years......

We been getting calls since December about date for our Spring Open House...can't come quick enough....

This year two guests coming will be doing mini seminars....

The day before this s torm hit temp was 50 degrees washed two of my trucks....turned out to be a waste since we got to drive them in this slop this week and they say more snow is coming...

Yea, Michigan had record breaking snofall(s) as well as total for January ever recorded. I am so over winter that I first plowed 70% of my back yard, then used the snowblower after the last snowfall to blow the snow behind the frozen mounds of snow which I made when I plowed said yard. Soooo over winter. I an an outdoor power equipment tech, meaning I fix equipment, including plows and salters.... I am sooo done with winter. This is supposed to be our downtime, historically anyways. Still haven't really had a break.

Got about 5in here yesterday. Day before it was 60. Tomorrow forcast is for ice . So sick of winter right now. Car hasn't seen the light of day in months.

of 32 days it was either snowing or below zero!

I am open every day no matter what....and I can't stand it. My partner (father) has this mantra...."we never close". He thinks people are aware of this....and care. I have counted many days where it costs me more to unlock the front door than to keep it closed. Then, with all this crappy weather the buttholes come out to drink.
I don't know about you but I think my liability as a bar owner jumps ten fold. Especially when all the other bar/restaurants are closed. I get angry when its snowing an inch or two an hour and some bozo comes in and asks if we're open, then calls all his half drunk friends and yells "yeah they're open!"

I feel irresponsible in these occasions....so um glad you and others make the decision to shut down. It's not safe for anyone.
