I wanted to ask about the repair to the T Top area, Did your body guy make the repair sections or did you purchase them? I so who did you purchase them from? I have a car to repair and I was going to make the repair pieces but would much rather purchase and weld in. Thanks for any info that you can supply.

No more pics yet......

The bodyman is now reassembling the car and installing all of the new weatherstriping that I bought for the car. I still have some bits and pieces being powder coated right now. I told him that he can take as much time as he wants- That will save on storage fees :) ........

Not sure about the actual paint products beiong used, but I do know that it is a PPG base coat/clear coat system.

The T-top rust was fixed with sheet metal cut to fit and welded in. The quarter panel rust was repaired the same way. I was going to buy patch panel sections for the doors, but I got a great deal on a pair of rust-free doors from some guy up in Fargo ND :D

If I get any new pics I'll pass them on!

John

I have to drop off some more parts this week that I had powder coated, So I will try to gets pics then.

It's starting to warm up a bit here, so I'm getting a bit of "Spring Fever". I can't hardly wait until it's finished!

I'll keep you posted!
John

Nice car man. I like the color. Nice rims you got there also.
The rust before sucks. But now your car looks good as new.

That looks great, Thank You for sharing your progress with us. I for one would like to have that done to my car,but the guy I would like to use around here would easily charge around $7500.00 for what I need and I don't have any rot issues.....that I can see.

Can't wait to see your pics of it all detailed!

Thanks Again Yankee John!
