So What Are The Cobras Running Now???

Went to the track once this year. May - Norwalk. Seemed like everybody in my little club broke. Haven't seen a Cobra at the track yet. So what are they running now?

All depends on the track and driver and what mods done to car. Anywhere from 9-14 seconds.

It is like asking what a GN runs. All depends.

I believe Richard Lelsz of Strictly Performance in Houston has driven a customer's yellow 03 cobra to the time of 9.54.
Not sure of the mph.

There are several daily driven 03's around Houston running mid 11's.

Played with my new G-Tech Competition this evening. Mine has Ford Catback Exhaust...stock other than that.

who cares if it's another cobra thread...people need to be aware of what these things are capable of...i've seen BONE STOCK 03's doing mid 12's all day long on street tires...minor mods and traction and they are doing high to mid 11's...

not everyone has a 10 second GN...some of us still have mild mods and we have to watch out for these "street killers" if we aren't careful...i know if your car isn't tuned properly (like mine) you will have yourself a fight with an 03 snake...

That graph displayed by the g-tech is very neat--might have to look into one of those to play with

Yeah, this thing is night and day as compared to the old G-Tech. It'll graph just about any reading it takes. Easier to use and doesn't have to be lined up perfectly to be accurate, unlike the old one.
