Ford won by 2 races, :( We were slightly ahead most of the way until the end. Red lights didn't help either..... ;)

Must be the popular pic, thats my GN in the 2nd pic  The red stang never made a pass that I was aware of, he had it off the trailer when I arrived and but it back on the trialer before 10am....then the guy in the white stang crammed his rig in between us...freakin mudstain owners show no respect  oh well, I got to put it to a stang and get apoint for Team Buick ;)
Had a blast even though the sand baggin was very evident on several cars...12-13 sec passes at 120+mph, seems like one ran a 139mph on a 11.0 pass.
lots of pics of LSPBC members cars above!

Where's the pics of the GN with silver flames or the one with the silver tribal pattern down the side?? that was sweet and I didn't have my camera.

Cool! And yes, the sandbagging was VERY VERY evident. One stang trapped a 10.xx pass at 162 MPH during the elims!! Funny thing was that he was losing up until the point he decided to hit the NOS.....I have to see if I caught that run on video.

Sorry, dont think I took pics of those. I did see them though but, not while pitted.

I watched the video last night and I dunno. I almost thought it must have been a malfunction. Running 162 mph, that car should have been the #2 qualifier and it just didn't seem that fast. It blew alot of smoke there at the end though. Worst sandbag I've ever seen but he was obviously having problems handling the car and maybe just didn't get a good run in qualifying.

Thats what I was thinking but, I still dunno? It did blow out a fair amount of smoke but, 162 MPH?? Thats pretty quick and it only looked like maybe 140 to me......anyone else see that run??? Maybe the guy racing him during that run could chime in.

Ermm.. well.. Ive had a Camaro, a Subaru WRX and 2 Mustangs since so I'd say its been about 7 or 8 years.

The car had a 115,000k stock long block in it with a Whipplecharger and some other stuff on it when I sold it. I saw it at a dyno day at LG Motorsports about a year after I sold it and the next time I saw it, it had a NA motor in it.

The sad part is the only reason I sold the car is because the back window got broken at First Saturday in Dallas and when the Ford dealership in Lewisville replaced it, they poked a hole in the top and I made them replace it. They completely hosed up the weatherstripping, broke a bunch of the trim, etc and wouldn't fix it. Got so disgusted, I just sold the car.

Yea, they didnt help. Me being the first or second red light of the evening. I was intisapating the light too much, tried to get him on the lights. Was trying to break my .20 reaction times...but damn well didnt work. I wasnt able to get my damn car leave good at all, I wasnt tryin to push threw the lights since my brakes dont hold too swell either.

Besides that, i hade fun meeting everyone!

Did anyone find out what happened to that Ford Fairlane that crossed the centerline during eliminations and the TB barely squeeked on by without getting hit while the Fairlane continued on over to brush the wall and then continued rolling down the track slowly to the finish line?
Appeared that he broke a tie rod or something on the launch, but since he didn't just hit the brakes maybe he passed out or something??

Oh, nice pic Bryan ;) I don't recall seeing that one walkng around, unless she was the one sitting in the golfcart all day.

My brakes weren't holding either, and my car ended up pushing through the lights. I was lucky though that it was a pro tree, because when my car rolled it helped me get a halfway decent r/t like a .111.

That happened right in front of me. It was a miracle that they didn't hit each other it looked like they were inches away.
