Nick, I met Roger yesterday, gave him a coil pack/module, still no start.
for some reason he thinks its the crank sensor,
I checked everything I could with NO tools,
he's headed out for work today,
I told him he could store it at my place , if he wanted to.
feel kinda sorry for him, just moved here, & new job, and broken turbo buick.
I'll do what I can to help him.
Thanks

Cruz, it has fuel press & gas in the tank, put a plug in the end of the wire ground the case to something crank the engine test for spark. If none possible crank sensor. Go to any parts store request a noid light . Plug it into a injector harness connector crank engine see if it flash's. If none check module or ECM fuse. Check all the fuses while your under there with a test light. Make sure the orange feed wire near the battery is getting power all the way to the computer. Nick has probably already figured it out but feel free to call me if needed. Lou

I have a noid light you can borrow if you're in the PHX area.

we did ck for spark, NONE! and IS getting fuel, (plenty)
did ck orange wire, and is letting voltage thru,
it has been acting up for last few days ( so he says) missing, lo power, etc.
so I think you may be right about crank sensor.
Roger is from jersey, car was built there, he drove it out here,
I'll let him know about fuses. he won't be back until late next week, so
maybe I'll just go get a crank sensor and give it to him when he returns,
thanks for your help.
(Guy, I'm in Kingman,)
but I am in PHX every week, off the 101 and 56th st)

I'm just up the road at the Penske complex on Scottsdale and Chauncey Lane, 2 blocks south of the 101 every weekday.

PM me and I'll give you my number.

Lee, if you can't find one local let me know. I might have one, or at least have a gang of parts places nearby. Could quick ship it to you.

James

Thanks James
I think local Napa has one, ( ck'd on line)
he won't be back until later next week,
so if I need to I can order one.
will probably get the bracket to, as we all know, if I don't,
he WILL need it, LOL

Lee,
I work across the street from Guy on Chauncey Ln. Let us know when you're available and maybe we could meet up for lunch. It would nice to catch up.

sounds good! most of time ,I'm not feeling the best,
after visiting PHX.
but I'll see what we can do.

When under there, check the crank end play, B4 you swap the sensor...You mentioned "built"...That makes me wonder if the thrust brg has "taken a dump"..
Also, balancer bolt backed out?
Balancer hub cracked?
