me and my boy went to get something to eat at mc donalds. after we ate we were out side talking and a lady backed up into his car with a truck and cracked his hood . he drives a dodge viper r/t 10. my boy went to the dodge dealer to get a price on a new hood and the price was $14,890.00 . is that crazy or what!!

Sounds about right, I heard some piece of news sometime back that if you crunch the frontend its gonna cost around $35K to fix it.

thats true, thats one of the main reasons Dodge witn with a non clamshell standard flat hood for the new gen Viper..

Flyin GN is right, I toured the assembly plant for the RT/10 and they said the same thing.

Corvette switched hood style too for the same reason.
