I have been following this for a while, Thanks for sharing your buildup, looks great best of luck with it!

It is gonna take about 2 more days to get it running... We came up a few hours short.... Should have some dyno video by mid week and hoping for a little test and tune next thursday night before we make the trip to Reynolds!

Car will be on display at Mr. Clarks event tomorrow!

Get pics at Richard's please:biggrin:

Why the TH 400? At that weight I would think a glide or maybe even a clutch would work better..
The real truth is Very few cars go faster with a glide. Very few. Ask Len he made the switch to 400. The clutch cars need an entire race team for Maintenance to remove and grind the clutch every pass then a clutch expert to re-adjust it.

That car is super sexy. Nice work!!!!!!

Everytime I check this thread it just gets better and better! Awesome work on this car guys, it's hard to believe you guys got it that light. Keep in mind the NHRA Pro Stock cars and most of the fastest ProMod doorslammers weigh 2350lbs w/ driver so that alone should definitely help make it one flying brick!

Transmission better get the job done, or somebody is moving to NC shortly until it does:biggrin:

Lonnie built this monster 400 for us guys! Says it can handle the 3000hp+ we need with the BB later!

Thanks Lonnie!

Car is absolutely killer guys. It looks like it will run the big numbers just sitting still. No doubt all the pieces are in place - now all you have left to do is run the number. Good luck!

This thread just keeps on giving:biggrin: off to the bathroom, be right back:biggrin:

Wow!

Make sure you take a video of the startup. I want to hear that monster.

When Will It Run Now???

The plan as of now is to have it running tomorrow or Wed and take it to the track Thursday night. Most of the niggling things we lacked for last weekend have been done.. parachute mount made, etc. Barring any complications, we're talking about taking it to Virginia this weekend to run it in the 1/4 and then Reynolds the following weekend.

Which track in Virginia, and when? Richmond is only a 2 hour drive, hmm? :-)
