Read the artical in this months GM Hitech mag they used them in a high milage GN and i think there was a part number for them it's on page 74 or 75

JUNK

Don't ask me how I know.

I gave them the length needed and they made for me. I pulled 2 boots off right away, yes they were gauranteed and got new ones. Under boost they misfired like crazy.

If you want to try them, send me money for shipping and you can have them.

Sorry, I actually took the time to check their website, and no such part listed, and the 6 buicks that are on there are all distributor listings.

I don't get GM High Tech anylonger. That mag has gone to crap lately and I cancelled my subscription.

Thanks wow good to know. They are not cheap.

i have good experience with the magna cores that jack cotton sells.413 189 0531

don't use red armstrongs wires they have a real nice fit and are inexpensive but i had 2 sets have the boots pull off and they had dielectric grease on them and were only a week so they are also junk!

magnacores are a little long but they don;t fall apart as easy.

i was also given for free a set of live wires that had 2 boots pulled off and i was told about the warranty too!

Same here.

+1 Magnacores are great! I must have changed my plugs 30 times in the past 6 years and never had a boot pull off.

i have had 8.5 and 10 i think either way you can't go wrong! they are a little long but out of 6 sets of them on my various cars and many times on and off for plug changes i only had 2 come apart. i highly recommed them. i also put dieelctric grease on them to try to help them getting melted on from the heat as well.

yes the russ merritt wires are nice but i am not a fan of his due to a tranny that was done by him in a car that i bought that did not last 2000 miles ! this was talked about before in another thread! so i do not support anything that anything that has to do with him and unfortunately for him i deal with a lot of people in the turbo buick and i will not send anybody to him for anything EVER!

MSD (black) wires ftw

Got'em from Russ a while back... Have held uo perfect (have done numerous plug.changes) - perfect length also:biggrin:

Livewires

I second the Livewire opinions.. Junk. The MSDs are great, use them on my Vette, but on my GN I use the ones Mr. Kirban used to sell, the grey 8mm ones. They work just great.:D Stay away from Livewires. Anything but them.
